One Week Before Bid Opening

Check and make sure we have received the Proof of Publication from the newspaper for the advertisement of the project. When we receive the proof of publication, we need to mail a copy to the administrator. Be sure that the Proof of Publication is in the Bid File, so the Engineer can take it with him to the Bid Opening.

One (1) week before the Bid Opening, we need to do a letter to the Owner reminding them of the bid opening (send cc: Attorney, Administrator & OPC - SRF Only).

Check with the Engineer to see if the job is a rather large one, the Owner may need Owner's Protective Insurance.
